Our Story
In late 2021, I came to Pelion for a short 24-hour visit. I didn’t know the area and had no expectations – but I found myself captivated by its magic. Every village I passed through was different – with its own tastes, scents, alleys, and landscapes. Each was a small, unique world, and together they created the charm of Pelion for me.
One of the villages I arrived at was Kato Lechonia – a quiet, green, and peaceful village on the seaside. The village is full of farmland and fruit trees, and something about it stirred a deep sense of nostalgia. It reminded me of childhood – days spent between orchards and open fields, before everything turned into buildings. It had a sense of connection, simplicity, and irresistible calm.
From that moment, I knew I wanted to leave a mark here – not just return, but find a place that would become a part of my life. Since that visit, I’ve returned to Pelion around ten times, mostly focusing on the western side near Kato Lechonia, discovering more small and beautiful villages along the way. At the end of each visit, I was already thinking about the next.
Eventually, I found a beautiful villa, with open lawns, fruit trees, and a view of the sea and mountains – a place that simply felt right. It had something that reminded me of my childhood home – only without the sea view.
The name I chose for the villa reflects what it means to me – green serenity. *Galini* means "serenity" in Greek, and the wide grassy areas are an integral part of the peaceful atmosphere the villa offers.
